Beautiful and extremely rare Manuel Nunes soprano ukulele from the early 1909 in gorgeous original condition. This beautiful piece was handcrafted on the island of Oahu at the turn of the twentieth century and remains in phenomenal collectible and playable condition.  Manuel Nunes was one of three luthiers along with Augusto Dias and Jose do Espirito Santo who are credited with creating the early ukulele. 1920s Martin 3M Taropatch Ukulele

A wonderful and extremely rare 1920s Martin (8-string) 3M Taropatch Ukulele handcrafted by C.F. Martin & Co. of Nazareth, PA. This historical and rare Martin taropatch ukulele was handcrafted of a Mahogany wood top, back, sides, and bridge with a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard.  Five-ply concentric ivroid rosette and three-ply top purfling with matching ivroid top and back binding, mustache inlay at the butt of the instrument, and “doubled-up” diamond shaped abalone shell position markers on 5, 7, and 10. 8-string tuning configuration for accompaniment

1885 Manuel Nunes Ukulele

An extremely rare 1885 Manuel Nunes soprano ukulele is a world class collectible over 100 years in age. The instrument was handcrafted by Manuel Nunes, one of three Portuguese cabinet makers – Jose do Espirito Santo, Augusto Dias, and Manuel Nunes – who first came to Hawaii from the island of Madeira, Portugal in the late 1800s to work in the plantation fields.
