This stunning example is handcrafted in the 1960s and was a custom ordered piece complete with upgraded AAA curly Koa wood top back and sides, rosewood fretboard and bridge, top and back faux tortoise shell binding with black-white top and back purfling for aesthetic appeal. Stunning classic 1990’s Kamaka Concert Ukulele in refinished condition. Great player ukulele and constructed of beautiful Hawaiian Koa face, back, and sides. A few small repairs to the back of the instrument (see photo of back). It is difficult to identify the repairs because of the high gloss finish that is on the instrument. Some fingerboard and wear. Tonal quality on this beauty is absolutely great! Wonderful sustain with nice lows and crisp highs. Perfect backyard jam uke! Highly recommended vintage Kamaka ukulele. Fingerboard wear and some nicks, dings, and scratches. Beautiful Hawaiian Koa face, back, and sides with gorgeous black vertical striping. Tonal quality on this beauty is incredible. Great sustain with nice lows and crisp highs. I’ve come across a number of these over the years and I’ve got to say this one is an exceptional player. Highly recommended vintage Kamaka ukulele.
