Curly koa back and sides with engelmann spruce soundboard, and ebony fingerboard and bridge. Abalone position markers and KK on headstock with heart abalone rosette around soundhole. Rosewood top binding, BWB purfling and much more. The tuners are mini (Gibson Shaft) Gold/Acrylic Button and the pick-up is an Fishman Acoustic Matrix (2-1/4 Inch). Beautiful Kamaka ‘Special’ Pineapple of the early 1930s. It is said that the pineapple model was the very uke that saved Kamaka from going bankrupt during the early stages of production. This beauty is made entirely out of Hawaiian Koa. There is no fretboard as these early models never came with them . The frets themselves were placed in on the neck. 1996s Kamaka Ukulele in near mint condition. This one is an incredible backyard jam ukulele in wonderful condition. I would say that this has got to be one of the best sounding Kamaka soprano ukuleles I have ever come across. Beautiful Hawaiian Koa face, back and sides with classic Koa neck and fretboard. A classics sound with deep resonance and bright high tones as well. Extremely well balanced. These 1990s models are amongst the most desired Kamaka soprano ukuleles. Price: SOLD
