Beautiful and extremely rare Kamaka pineapple ukulele from the late 1920s that was hand-painted by local famed Hawaii artist E. Garcia II. The pineapple and cigar band at the butt of the instrument were all painted  in 2015 on an actual vintage Kamaka ukulele from the 1920s as an homage to the original painted pineapple model that is highly sought after by ukulele collectors worldwide. In full swing of the ukulele boom, the 1920s offered much to ukulele enthusiasts across the world. One such example was the development of the teardrop shaped ukulele by S.S Stewart based in New York, N.Y. Here is a fine example of the historical ‘teardrop’ ukulele handcrafted with an all mahogany wood face, back, and sides with a rosewood fingerboard. The exaggerated lower bout adds a nice low but mellow tone to the instrument. Overall the instrument remains in wonderful condition given the nearly ninety years of existence since it was built. Martin ukulele for sale. Beautiful Martin Tenor Ukulele from the 1940s in all original and wonderful condition. All mahogany face, back, and sides with rosewood fretboard and bridge. Faux tortoise shell binding on face and back. This vintage Martin ukulele has some play wear on the fretboard, light strum marks over the soundboard area, and a few nicks and dings on the back lower bout area and sides – as would be expected with an instrument of this age. All in all it’s a wonderful vintage Martin ukulele with the classic 12-fret joint to the body construct
