1916 Manuel Nunes Ukulele

Historical and extremely rare Manuel Nunes deluxe soprano ukulele from the early 1916 in beautifully restored condition. This beautiful piece was handcrafted on the island of Oahu at the turn of the twentieth century and remains in phenomenal collectible and playable condition.  Manuel Nunes was one of three luthiers along with Augusto Dias and Jose do Espirito Santo who are credited with inventing the early ukulele. 1940s Sam Chang Soprano Ukulele

One of many luthiers who studied under the tutelage of the Kamaka family, Sam Chang was a builder who learned his craft through employment at the Kamaka factory before going his separate way. Over the years, Sam was known to build for the Summers Brothers, including labels such as the Moana, Famous Waikiki Ukulele, and the Royal Hawaiian in addition to the Sam Chang label.
