Beautiful and extremely rare Jonah Kumalae deluxe soprano ukulele from the early 1920s in gorgeous restored condition. This beautiful piece was handcrafted on the island of Oahu at the turn of the twentieth century and remains as a historical piece from Hawaii’s yesteryear. Gorgeous Hawaiian curly Koa wood face, back, and sides with all Koa wood neck and bridge. Beautiful Kamaka ‘Special’ Pineapple of the early 1920s. It is said that the pineapple model was the very uke that saved Kamaka from going bankrupt during the early stages of production. This beauty is made entirely out of Koa wood and boasts a gorgeous abalone shell inlay on the soundboard, neck, and matching rosette. There is no fretboard as these early models never came with them.
