Custom Martin 5K Tenor Replica Ukulele by Takahashi Shinji in immaculate original condition. An incredible piece from one of Japan’s most foremost luthiers for custom ukuleles. Takahashi Shinji has participated and won “Best in Show” at the Ukulele Guild of Hawaii (UGH) twice with his stunning attention to detail and remarkable tones offered by his handcrafted ukuleles.

Takahashi Shinji handcrafts only a limited number of instruments himself and these instruments are not to be confused with those made by his employees. Takahashi’s company, T’s Ukulele and T’s Guitar, is one of the largest and most respected guitar and ukulele makers in Japan – but the vast majority of these wonderful instruments are made by his factory employees. It is the select few who have had the privilege of acquiring one of Takahashi’s ukuleles firsthand that understand the quality of his workmanship and the remarkable clarity, projection and comfort of his instruments.  There is a significant difference between the models made at the factory and the ones that Takahashi has made himself. His ukuleles are absolutely beautiful and stunning in construction and tone that is second to none. Handcrafted in Nagano, Japan by legendary luthier Takahashi Shinji, this Martin 5K Tenor replica ukulele is made of the finest materials, even the tuning pegs have been custom ordered by T.
