Sonny D Bell Ukulele

A wonderful Sonny D bell-shaped tenor ukulele from the early 1990s in all original condition. This uke has a 17 1/8 inch scale with the old Ohta-san style bell-shaped uke construction. Handcrafted entirely of Hawaiian Koa face, back and sides with Koa fretboard and classic shallow body construction.

The uke is in used condition and has some fingerboard wear, dings and scratches, and finish checking but sounds absolutely great! This is one of those classic Sonny D ukes of yesteryear that looks average but plays beautifully! The uke has wonderful sustain and the string action is set very well. Absolutely amazing tones. Excellent projection, sustain and playability.

Highly recommended backyard jam uke. A great player uke from a wonderful builder. This instrument was previously owned by a local musician here in Hawaii who gigged regularly on Oahu.
