1960s Royal ‘Martin Replica’ Soprano Ukulele – 14 fret joint

Circa 1960s Royal soprano ukulele handcrafted in Japan by N. Watanabe. A rare piece, this instrument remains in excellent overall condition, featuring a solid Hawaiian koa wood face, back, and sides, and a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and headstock plate with a matching Hawaiian Koa wood bridge. Honduras mahongay wood neck for added stability. The instrument also boasts a rare 14-fret joint to the body, a feature rarely seen on a soprano-sized ukulele.

A Martin-inspired instrument, this ukulele features appointments similar to the style 3k, including a solid one-piece soundboard and backplate, giving this instrument a wonderful and full sound. Lots of projection with that classic vintage Hawaiian koa wood bark. Ideal for professional musicians, weekend players, and collectors. One small repair on the waist of the back binding, where there was a little separation of the binding. A little wood glue was added to correct the issue. #250034.

Price: $1,200.00
