This Pono “Master Series” tenor ukulele boasts a highly figured curly Hawaiian Koa wood set on the face, back, and sides – reserved for the premium series of Pono ukuleles. Macassar ebony wood faceplate, wood rosette, top and back binding and radiused fretboard for ease of reach in the higher position on the neck. Wood purfling with a gloss finish on the body and satin finish on the neck.

This model has a lattice bracing system which allows the vibration as it is introduced from the strings into the saddle and onto the soundboard to be channelled in an alternate way, giving the instrument a slightly bolder voice in contrast to that of a traditional fan braced system or x-brace system.  Great clarity and sustain with lots of projection.
