Pono Tenor Ukulele

Beautiful Pono Tenor Ukulele in immaculate original condition. This piece is a great player uke with exceptional Hawaiian curly Koa wood. The wood from this batch of Pono ukes were originally intended to be used on the premium Ko`olau Ukuleles and were sent to Java by accident. There are only a handful of these out there that look and play as good as this Pono. Set-up on the instrument was done in Hawaii.

Premium Hawaiian Koa face, back, & sides with ebony wood fretboard and bridge. Bone nut and saddle with beautiful rope binding purfling on soundboard with abalone shell rosette. Ebony top and back binding,  Honduran mahogany neck and Grover machine tuners for precision tuning. It is tremendously well balanced and has excellent volume and sustain. This is a definite keeper for both the collector and the true player.
