Dennis handcrafts beautifully playing and aesthetically pleasing instruments for both the weekend musician and the recreational player in very limited fashion with only 2-3 instruments available per year.

This beautiful Custom Po Mahina tenor ukulele boasts a wonderful set of curly Hawaiian Koa wood on the face, back, and sides. The neck has been hand-carved from Honduras mahogany for added structural integrity and sustain and is very comfortable, gliding into higher position up the neck with ease. The fretboard and headstock veneer are crafted of musicians-grade Ebony wood with a rosewood bridge. This gorgeous piece also boasts a rope marquetry rosette, a Po Mahina mother-of-pearl headstock logo, and a matching mother-of-pearl positions markers on 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 15, and 17 for quick and easy reference. Professional Grover open-geared tuners for quick and precise tuning. Satin style finish for a smooth to touch feel.

All of Dennis Lake’s ukuleles are wonderfully crafted and are rarely available on the market. This one has a mid-range focus with a forward Hawaiian Koa wood ‘bark’. A simply and lovely player’s ukulele that rarely appears on the grand landscape of ukulele makers. #230039
