1920s Kamaka Guitar. Beautiful and extremely rare 1920s Kamaka Guitar set up in Hawaiian-style lap steel play. This gorgeous piece is only one of a few guitars handcrafted by Kamaka. Kamaka guitars are tremendously rare and highly collectible Hawaiian instruments. Beautiful Ka-lai (Kamaka & Johnny Lai) joint venture pineapple ukulele of the late 1920s. It is said that this pineapple model was the very ones that saved Kamaka from going bankrupt during the early stages of production. Constructed entirely of a beautiful vintage monkeypod wood, classic pineapple sticker on soundboard and ‘Ka-lai’ decal on headstock. Label inside uke is in wonderful original condition as well.
