Custom Moore Bettah Tenor Ukulele

Preowned. 2021. Custom Moore Bettah Tenor Ukulele. This beautiful tenor ukulele was handcrafted by master luthier Chuck Moore from the Big Island, Hawaii. Chuck is known for creating some of the most aesthetically pleasing ukuleles on the market, making them ideal for both professional musicians and recreational players alike.

This exceptional and incredibly rare Moore Bettah tenor ukulele is made from a stunning set of Hawaiian koa wood used for the face, back, and sides of the instrument. It features a Gabon Ebony wood fretboard and bridge, along with matching Gabon ebony top and back binding, a bound fingerboard, and a bound headstock. The design includes subtle black-and-white accent lines on the soundboard, back, sides, fingerboard, side of the neck, and on the headstock. The neck is hand-carved from Honduras Mahogany wood and reinforced with carbon fiber for added stability. It showcases a beautiful burl inlay on the rosette, along with a three-piece burl and ebony headstock veneer that features a “Palm Tree” inlay made of Hawaiian koa and mango wood. The instrument includes a side sound port, providing a ‘monitor-like’ effect when playing in higher positions on the neck. The classic headstock design complements the elegant feel of this custom Moore Bettah tenor ukulele. The instrument is also equipped with professional Gotoh UPT tuners that allow for quick and precise adjustments.  Beautiful high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

Tonally, this beautiful ukulele produces a classic Hawaiian koa wood midrange bark, offering excellent sustain, clarity, and projection. It is well-balanced along the entire neck and boasts perfect intonation as well, making it perfect for recording artists, weekend performers, and recreational players alike! #260013
