Custom Moore Bettah Tenor Ukulele

Preowned. Custom Moore Bettah Tenor Ukulele. Beautiful custom Moore Bettah Tenor Ukulele handcrafted by master luthier Chuck Moore of the Big Island, HI. Chuck handcrafts not only some of the most aesthetically pleasing ukuleles on the market but also professional recording-level instruments for both professional musicians and recreational players.

This wonderful and extremely rare custom Moore Bettah tenor ukulele was crafted from the finest materials. Gorgeous master grade Hawaiian curly Koa wood top, back, and sides, with a Gabon ebony wood fretboard, bridge, top, and back binding with matching headstock veneer. The neck was hand-carved from Spanish Cedar wood and is carbon fiber reinforced for added stability. Side sound port for monitor-like experience with the sound firing upward toward the player as well as outward toward the audience. The soundboard, back, and side of the body boasts elegant black-white-black purfling lines, which contrast the natural hues of the Hawaiian Koa wood. Position marker inlays of paua abalone shell on 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15 with full abalone shell rosette, top purfling, along the fingerboard, and headstock inlay. Slotted headstock design. Musicians grade high gloss nitrocellulose finish.

Wonderful warm tone with excellent sustain, clarity, and projection. The instrument is very well balanced tonally all the way up the neck and spot on intonation as well. Highly recommended player piece. And this is as good as it gets for recording artists, weekend giggers, and the uke-lover at heart! #250055
