This wonderful and extremely rare Moore Bettah ‘Bird-of-Paradise’ Tenor ukulele was crafted from the finest materials. Gorgeous master grade Hawaiian curly Koa wood back and sides with a Sitka Spruce soundboard. Macassar Ebony wood fretboard and bridge, matching Macassar Ebony wood top and back binding with Hawaiian Koa wood rosette. The neck was hand-carved from Spanish Cedar wood and is carbon fiber reinforced for added stability. Side sound port for monitor-like experience with the sound firing upward toward the player as well as outward toward the audience. The soundboard, side, and back of the body boasts an elegant black-white-black purfling line. Gorgeous artistic headstock inlay of a ‘Hawaiian Bird-of-Paradise’ handcrafted of dyed Maple wood burl for aesthetic appeal. 14 fret joint to the body for added reach high up on the neck and 19 overall frets to the sound hole. Beautiful high gloss nitrocellulose finish.
A big and bold sound with wonderful mid-range and great clarity, projection, and excellent sustain as well. The instrument is very well balanced tonally all the way up the neck and spot on intonation as well. Highly recommended player piece.
