Circa 2010. Preowned. – Custom Moore Bettah Tenor Ukulele. Beautiful Custom Moore Bettah Tenor Ukulele handcrafted by master luthier Chuck Moore of the Big Island, HI. Chuck handcrafts some of not only the most aesthetically pleasing ukuleles available on the market but also professional recording level instruments for both the professional musician and recreational player.
This wonderful and extremely rare Custom Moore Bettah Tenor Ukulele was handcrafted with a simple but elegant theme in mind. Gorgeous musicians grade Hawaiian curly Koa wood top, back, and sides with a Cocobolo wood fretboard and bridge. Matching Cocobolo wood top and back binding, headstock veneer, and rosette in keeping with the earthy feel of this instrument. The neck was hand-carved from Spanish Cedar wood, reducing the overall weight and feel of the instrument and is carbon fiber reinforced for added stability. The soundboard and back of the body boasts an elegant black-white-black accent line, giving the body of the instrument a nice separation from the binding, rosette, and headstock. Slotted headstock design with gold mother of pearl palm tree inlay. Matching gold mother of pearl bridge inlay and fret markers on positions 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15 for quick reference. MiSi pick up for quick plug and play. High gloss finish.
Bold tones with a very full and mature sound. Excellent sustain with exceptional note separation, clarity, and projection. The instrument is very well balanced tonally all the way up the neck and spot on intonation as well. Highly recommended player piece. And this is as good as it gets for recording artists, weekend giggers, and the uke-lover at heart! ID#:210002
