Custom Moore Bettah Ukulele – ‘Hand-painted Hawaiian Scene’. Beautiful custom tenor ukulele by Chuck Moore of the Big Island. This piece was on exhibit at the Ukulele Guild of Hawaii 2007 and was one of the raves of the event. Premium Koa back, and sides with spruce top in hand-painted fashion. Rosewood fretboard and bridge with classic rope binding and tortoise shell faux binding on top and back. Mother of pearl position markers and much more. Faux bound fretboard and headstock with professional Gotoh machine geared tuners. Chuck woke early one autumn morning and felt inspired by the early morning sunrise and decided to hand-paint this beautiful piece as a tribute to the beauties of Hawaii. This piece is set up with low-g configuration. Perfect intonation and a sound that rings true ‘Hawaii’.
