Chuck handcrafts some of not only the most aesthetically pleasing ukuleles available on the market but also professional recording level instruments for both the professional musician and recreational player.
This wonderful tenor ukulele is handcrafted from gorgeous AAAA grade Hawaiian Koa wood back, and sides, with master grade cedar wood top. The fretboard, top and back binding, heel cap and end graph are all crafted of purpleheart wood with a curly Hawaiian Koa wood inlay strip down the center of the fretboard for aesthetic appeal. The fretboard is also slightly radiused for ease of play. The neck is also carved from Hawaiian Koa wood and the instrument boasts an elegant matching curly Hawaiian Koa headstock veneer. Paua shell rosette, top purfling, and fretboard position markers on 5, 7, 10, and 12. Professional Gotoh geared tuners for precise tuning. Nitrocellulose lacquer high gloss finish.
Slightly deep body construction with rich and complex tones. The piece has excellent clarity and amazing sustain as well. It is very well balanced tonally all the way up the neck and spot on intonation as well. Highly recommended player piece with amazing projection, sustain, and clarity.
