This beautiful custom Lymana tenor ukulele boasts a master grade curly Hawaiian Koa wood face, back, and sides. Faux tortoise shell top and back binding contrasting the natural hues of the Hawaiian Koa wood back and side and keeping with the theme of a bold and striking ukulele. The neck has been carved from Spanish Cedar and includes a graphite truss rod for added structural integrity and sustain. Gaboon Ebony wood fingerboard and bridge with a matching Ebony wood head plate and classic ‘L’ Lymana logo in mother-of-pearl. Classic headstock with Gold Gotoh UK 700 tuners and black buttons for smooth and precise tuning. Elegant abalone shell rosette, top abalone shell purfling, and matching abalone shell snowflake position marker inlays on the fingerboard for quick player reference. Zip style center seam inlay on the back with b-w side and back purfling lines and b-w-b-w-r top purfling with matching b-w-b-w-r-abalone shell-r-b-w-b rosette. High gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish and a wonderful sunburst add to the appeal of this amazing and rare handcrafted custom ukulele.
The Hawaiian Koa wood face, back and sides give this instrument that traditional Hawaiian Koa wood ‘bark’. The tones are absolutely wonderful on this piece ~ very rich and pronounced all the way up the neck with excellent clarity, wonderful sustain and excellent projection as well.
