This custom Ko’olau ‘Model 100’ Tenor ukulele boasts an upgrade in the wood to a premium curly Hawaiian Koa wood and a gloss body finish – making it a functional piece of art!

The body of this beautiful custom Ko’olau tenor ukulele  is handcrafted with an upgraded gorgeous premium, Hawaii-grown curly Koa wood face, back, and sides. Koa wood is amongst the most prized woods aesthetically and tonally in the world and is used by luthiers on the finest ukuleles and guitars. Instrument-grade Gabon ebony wood fretboard and bridge in keeping with the natural beauty of the instrument.  Elegant paua or abalone shell rosette with a Honduras mahogany wood neck for added stability. Matching Gabon ebony wood headstock veneer and professional Gotoh headstock geared tuners for quick and precise tuning. The instrument also boasts a stylish mother-of-pearl inlay for the Ko’olau logo on the headstock, and upgrade to a poreless gloss finish on the body, and a smooth-to-the-touch satin finish on the neck, allowing for the player’s hands to move freely up and down the neck without concern of ‘sticking’ as you play.

Tonally, this beautiful Custom Ko’olau ‘Model 100’ Tenor Ukulele is a wonderful instrument with a classic Hawaiian Koa wood bark and an excellent mid-range, ideal both for fingerstyle play and strumming.
