The KPA tenor 5-string premium series is Kanilea’s model handcrafted in limited quantities with a specific player in mind who wants the fullness of an octave low and high g combination on the fourth and fifth strings and the versatility of a four string ukulele for finger style on the CEA strings.

The Hawaiian Koa boasts some beautiful figure in the wood with wide band curls and dark vertical streaking. Notice the natural variation in colors that range from lighter and darker browns to tinges of orange and hints of green. Master grade Hawaiian Koa face, back, & sides, musician’s grade ebony wood fretboard and a matching ebony wood bridge.  Paua abalone shell rosette and faux tortoise shell top binding. The neck is made of Honduran mahogany wood for added stability and a classic TRU bracing system are a few more wonderful attributes to this gorgeous ukulele. Classic headstock design with Kanile’a gold geared tuners for quick and precise tuning. Paua abalone Kanile’a logo and matching paua shell position markers on 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15 for quick reference when playing. UV finish with gloss body and satin finish on the neck.
