Custom Kanile’a Tenor Ukulele

Preowned. Beautiful Custom Kanile’a Tenor ukulele. The custom series is Kanilea’s full custom order series in which clients can request a host of wonderful woods and amenities out of the Kanile’a custom shop for a special build of their choosing.

The custom Kanile’a series tenor model was designed with both the musician and recreational player in mind and is a wonderful instrument and a stellar example of the finest work of Kanile’a ukuleles. The Brazilian Rosewood is from a private reserve at the custom shop and paired with a bear claw sitka spruce soundboard. A musician’s grade ebony wood fretboard with a matching ebony wood bridge and slotted headstock veneer were used in keeping with the premium woods of this instrument. A koa wood top and back binding with a matching koa wood bound fretboard and Brazilian rosewood scoop cutaway with koa wood and paua abalone shell rosette. A Brazilian rosewood headstock veneer has also been added in keeping with the overall theme of the instrument. The neck is made of Honduran mahogany wood for added stability and a classic TRU bracing system are a few more wonderful attributes to this gorgeous ukulele. Straight slim slotted headstock with Stealth tuners for quick and precise tuning. Paua abalone Kanile’a logo, rosewood position markers on 3, 5, 7, 10, and 15 with double honu, or Hawaiian sea turtle, inlays on position 12 for quick reference.  Hibiscus side sound port by which the sound fires both outward toward the audience but also upward toward the player for a monitor-like experience. UV finish with gloss body and satin finish on the neck. Tusq nut and saddle.
