The Kanile’a Platinum series tenor model was designed with both the musician and aesthetics in mind and is a wonderful instrument and a stellar example of the finest work of Kanile’a ukuleles. The Koa is from a private reserve at the custom shop. Premium golden colored master grade Hawaiian Koa face, back, & sides with dark vertical streaking in the wood, musician’s grade ebony wood fretboard with a matching ebony wood bridge.  A Maple wood top binding with elegant Mars Rosewood arm bevel and scoop cutaway with matching rosewood rosette with inner maple wood trim. A Mars Rosewood headstock veneer has also been added in keeping with the overall theme of the instrument. The neck is made of Honduran mahogany wood for added stability and a classic TRU bracing system are a few more wonderful attributes to this gorgeous ukulele. Straight slim slotted headstock with Stealth tuners for quick and precise tuning. White mother of pearl Kanile’a logo, white mother of pearl position markers.  UV finish with gloss body and satin finish on the neck. Tusq nut and saddle. LR Baggs 5.0 pickup for quick plug and play.

This gorgeous uke also has exceptional volume and sustain. Very full sounding with rich deep tones, balanced mid-range notes, and crisp highs. This beautiful ukulele has personality unique all to its own with a focus on both aesthetics and tone.
