New. Beautiful and meticulously made Custom Graziano Soprano Ukulele handcrafted in Santa Cruz, CA by legendary luthier Tony Graziano . Tony has been building musical instruments since 1969 and ukuleles, specifically, since 1978. His instruments are world renowned and they are loved by musicians and recreational ukulele players throughout the world, but especially those here in the USA and Japan.
This gorgeous custom Graziano soprano ukulele was handcrafted of a beautiful set of Hawaii grown Cuban Mahogany wood face, back, and sides. Cuban Mahogany wood is a rare prized wood only available here in Hawaii since it was over harvested in Cuba during the 1800s. It remains amongst the most sought woods both for its tonal properties and its beautiful appearance. This particular set of Cuban Mahogany has some light pin curl in the wood and a nice golden hue. Honduras mahogany wood neck, Gabon Ebony wood fretboard, and a Brazilian Rosewood bridge and headstock veneer. This beautiful soprano also boasts a faux tortoise shell top and back binding, and a b-w-b top purfling line and abalone rosette sandwiched between b-w-b purfling lines for aesthetic appeal are a few of the detail-oriented characteristics on this beautiful and functional piece of art. Mother-of-pearl shell ‘Graziano’ inlay on the headstock and matching position markers on positions 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15. Professional Gotoh UPT gold geared tuners for smooth and precise tuning.
