This gorgeous custom DeVine tenor ukulele is handcrafted of the legendary Quilted Mahogany wood known as “The Tree” – a 500-year old tree that once towered 100 feet above the Chiquibul Jungle of what is now Belize. With a massive base of ten feet in diameter, this wood has been considered some of the most beautiful and sought after wood by luthiers worldwide with instrument sets selling between $5,000 – $10,000 and limited numbers of sets available from this special tree each year. The Tree Quilted Mahogany has been defined as a “once in a lifetime wood”, possessing visual characteristics unparalleled in its beauty and tone and often being favorably compared to coveted woods such as Brazilian Rosewood.
