This beautiful Custom DeVine nylon string guitar was handcrafted from a premium master grade Hawaiian curly Koa face, back and sides with dark curly Koa binding on face and back and bound fretboard. Eric came across this special Koa wood many years back and kept it for such a special project. The figure in the wood is some of the nicest I’ve ever seen. Absolutely stunning! 12 fret joint to the body, this beauty sounds as good as it looks with a full sound and 12 fret joint to the body. It is truly wonderful in standard tuning from E to E but also sounds remarkable in Hawaiian slack key tuning as well. A truly versatile instrument from one of Hawaii’s foremost luthiers. Bone nut and saddle. Solid Mahogany neck with graphite rod for added stability. Ebony fretboard and bridge with a Hawaiian Hibiscus fretboard inlay on position 12 for aesthetic appeal and 18 overall frets to the soundhole. Matching ebony wood nouveau style rosette. Shallow cutaway for ease of reach higher up on the neck. Classic ebony wood headstock cap with ‘mother-of-pearl’ shell DeVine [ V ] logo and padauk wood vine inlay. Elegant black-white pin-striped purfling on top, back, and sides. Professional fine-tune slotted headstock machine tuners for precise tuning.  Nitrocellulose high-gloss finish that has settled into the Koa wood evenly across the instrument.
