A beautiful Custom William King Tenor Ukulele built in Austin, TX. Constructed of highly figured and prized African pomelle sapelle back and sides and spruce top. Ebony fretboard and bridge. Pomelle sapele is tremendously rare and considerably more costly than its relative, mahogany. This piece is constructed in William’s traditional style and boasts a beautiful rosewood top and back binding and wood rosette inlay around soundhole. Gorgeous gloss finish. Professional Waverly geared tuners. One of the best sounding ukes I’ve ever come across. Playability and set up is perfect!
I would rate this piece a 9 out of 10 near perfect condition with some light playwear on the fingerboard. No strum marks as far as I can see. This beauty really sings and has excellent volume and incredible sustain. The low tones are nice and long and crisp and balanced on the high end as well. Now is your chance to have a phenomenal player instrument from one of USA’s best luthiers.
