Custom William King Pineapple Ukulele

キング・ウクレレ (カスタム・テナー)

A beautiful and new Custom William King Pineapple Tenor Ukulele built in Austin, TX. This custom tenor ukulele is a fifteen fret joint to the body special project that William undertook a few years ago and remains as “new-old stock” and was never preowned. It was recently hand-painted by local famed Hawaii artist E. Garcia II in homage to the vintage painted pineapple ukuleles of the 1920s.

With a standard tenor scale of 17 inches from nut to saddle and 15 frets to the body, this ukulele features an ebony fingerboard with ivory position markers, ebony faceplate, ebony pin bridge, ebony body bindings, ebony nut and boxwood saddle. It has a decorative wood banding style rosette, is finished in a hand rubbed gloss lacquer, fitted with Goth deluxe friction tuners and strung with Worth strings.

The tones are mellow, warm, and ringing in nature with excellent sustain, loudness and projection. Highly recommended player piece and a very cool conversational instrument as well. Pineapple tenor ukuleles are quite rare but offer wonderful tones and a unique look as well. This uke would be great for both fingerpicking and strumming.
