Custom William King Ukulele

キング・ウクレレ (カスタム・テナー)

A beautiful Custom William King Tenor Ukulele built in Austin, TX in excellent condition. This custom tenor ukulele is a twelve fret joint to the body and was a special project that William undertook for the 2006 Ukulele Guild of Hawaii. Indian rosewood back and sides, Swiss spruce top, curly Koa bindings, Honduras mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, bridge and faceplate, MOP snowflake markers, Waverly tuners with ebony buttons,  Mi-Si preamp with L.R. Baggs under saddle transducer.

The uke has been gently played and did have very light strum marks on the soundboard. There were not many but they have all been buffed out perfectly! The neck is fast, smooth, and very comfortable as you progress up towards the body. The set-up is also perfect and the uke is very easy to play and has exceptional projection, volume, and sustain.

The tones are bright, crisp, resonant, singing tones all the way up the neck. The sweetness and sustain compliment the clarity and articulation and provide a nice fluidity to phrasing of note and chord progressions. There is also very good center-balance on the instrument both structurally and tonally. This uke would be great for both fingerpicking and strumming. Highly recommended.
