Handcrafted with gorgeous curly Hawaiian Koa wood face, back and sides and ebony top and back binding, the instrument also boasts a Cocobolo wood fretboard inlaid with abalone shell, white celluloid binding on black fibered strips, a two piece mahogany neck with East Indian Rosewood Strip and matching accent and much more.
The bridge has been hand-carved from ebony wood and has matching bridge pins with MOP dots for aesthetic appeal. Corian nut and saddle. Top and back curly Koa headstock veneer with abalone shell inlay and black celluloid binding, Gotoh gold professional tuners with amber knobs, Aquila Low ‘G’ string set up, and a sound board star is handcrafted of a mixture of Iron wood and spruce. The stripes are separated with black fibered strips. The inside bottom of sound board below the Hawaiian flag and Hawaiian islands is a thin piece of spruce for added structural integrity. Misi pick up for quick plug and play performance and gorgeous gloss finish.
Nice subtle and warm tones. An extremely rare and beautiful ukulele with the classic sound of Hawaii at your doorstep. The uke plays wonderfully acoustically but has a much stronger presence and greater range when plugged in to an amplifier.
