Lyman has been building custom ukuleles here in Hawaii for a number of years and handcrafts some of Hawaii’s finest masterpieces that are both aesthetically appealing and wonderful in tone.  Mr. Kazuyuki Sekiguchi of Southern All-Stars (Japan) and legendary ukulele player Bill Tapia (Hawaii) are amongst the elite group of musicians who throughly enjoy the sound and playability of Lymana Ukuleles.

This Lymana ukulele was constructed of beautiful Hawaiian Koa wood face, back, and sides, this handcrafted piece also emphasizes a solid Madagascar ebony fretboard and ebony bridge with spanish cedar neck.  Lymana ukuleles often have a simple elegance to them but are some of the best sounding ukuleles to be handcrafted out of Hawaii. This Lymana ukulele has a simple but elegant b-w-b-w-b rosette, corian nut, bone saddle and a wonderful paua shell position markers on 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, & 15. Tortoise shell (faux) top and back binding, paua shell rosette, and grover tuners with gold / white buttons. 12-fret joint to the body with 16 overall frets to soundhole. Satin style pored finish. A beautiful and rare piece that rings true the wonderful tones, rich and clear, of Hawaii.
