Custom MP Tenor Ukulele. Beautiful MP 4-String Tenor Ukulele handcrafted by luthier Michael Pereira of Shandon, CA. Michael handcrafts beautiful ukuleles with the utmost attention to detail for both the gigging musician as well as recreational player. Michael’s affinity for ukulele luthiery stems from a background of carpentry, starting in the early 80’s and later transitioned in to cabinetry. In 1997, he took up a position at National Guitars where he learned the fine art of instrument luthiery, working his way up as a supervisor of the wood department at the company. In 2004, Michael traveled to Hawaii on vacation and took an interest in the ukulele. Today, Michael continues to enjoy the challenge and art of instrument luthiery where he handcrafts only a very limited number of finely handcrafted ukuleles and guitars each year.
