Constructed of beautifully quarter sawn Hawaiian koa face, back and sides. Blk-white-blk rosette, classic tortoise shell (faux) top and back binding, rosewood fertboard with 5mm paua dots, bone nut and saddle, rosewood face plate with Gold M.O.P. and classic ‘L’ logo. Gotoh UK700 gold tuners with ebony buttons, and mahogany neck with graphite rod for added stability. Perfect string action set up for ease of play and a high gloss poreless finish that is absolutely stunning! The lower bout from the ‘A’ string (depth: 2 3/4 inch) to the ‘G’ string (depth: 2 5/8) is tapered for added comfort for the player.
A beautiful and rare piece that rings true with very complex, rich lows with crisp and balanced highs. A highly recommended and extremely rare custom ukulele by one of Hawaii’s finest luthiers.
