Custom Lymana Ukulele. Beautiful Custom Lymana Tenor ukulele by Lyman Ashikawa of Oahu, HI. Lyman has been handcrafting custom ukuleles here in Hawaii for a number of years and he continues to fashion some of Hawaii’s finest masterpieces that are both aesthetically appealing and wonderful in tone.  Mr. Kazuyuki Sekiguchi of Southern All-Stars (Japan) and legendary ukulele player Bill Tapia (Hawaii) are amongst the elite group of musicians who throughly enjoy the sound and playability of Lymana Ukuleles.

Constructed of a premium padauk (incredible tone-wood!) back, and sides, and an englemann top, this custom piece also emphasizes a solid ebony fretboard and bridge, a spanish cedar neck, curly koa wood top and back binding with bone nut and saddle and a wonderful paua shell inlay on soundboard with matching rosette. Professional open-geared Gotoh UK-700 machine tuners are used for precise tuning and the uke also boasts a gorgeous sunburst finish which compliments the subtle color variation in the padauk wood.

A beautiful and rare piece that rings true with wonderful tones, rich and clear, and handcrafted here in Hawaii. The tones on this uke are absolutely breathtaking. Very warm and precise yet complex all the way up the neck. Highly recommended in craftsmanship and tone and amongst the best and rarest to be built in Hawaii.
