Lyman has been handcrafting custom ukuleles here in Hawaii for a number of years and his instruments are regarded as some of Hawaii’s finest masterpieces that are both aesthetically appealing and wonderful in tone.  You will be pleasantly surprised at the complexity in tones and breath of sustain of Lymana ukuleles.

Mr. Kazuyuki Sekiguchi of Southern All-Stars (Japan) and legendary ukulele player Bill Tapia are amongst the elite group of musicians who throughly enjoy the sound and playability of Lymana Ukuleles.

This one was handcrafted in 2004 and remains in full original and near mint condition. Constructed of beautifully quarter sawn Hawaiian koa face, back and sides and paua shell rosette. (B-W-B-W-B). The instrument also has a top and back faux tortoise shell binding, a zipper backstrip inlay, ebony fretboard with paua shell position markers, koa wood faceplate, a spanish cedar neck with graphite bar, Grover machine tuners for precise tuning, bridge pin set up, bone nut and saddle and a zero fret for perfect string action set up. The instrument also has a high gloss poreless finish that is absolutely stunning!

A beautiful and rare piece that rings true with very complex, chocolately lows with crisp and balanced highs. A highly recommended and extremely rare custom ukulele by one of Hawaii’s finest luthiers.
