Custom Les Rietfors Ukulele

Beautiful Les Rietfors concert cutaway ukulele in excellent near mint condition. This piece is tremendously rare and a wonderful collector`s and player’s piece.

Premium Hawaiian Koa face, back, & sides with rosewood fretboard and bridge. Black celluloid binding on face and back of the instrument with white purfling and gorgeous abalone shell rosette and abalone purfling on soundboard. Classic Hawaiian Flag wood inlay on headstock,  abalone shell position markers on fretboard and cutaway for extended reach high up on the neck. Honduran mahogany neck and gold Grover machine geared tuners for precision tuning. This is a definite keeper for both the collector and the true player. Les Rietfors’ ukuleles are amongst the most desired custom ukuleles to have been made and tremendously difficult to locate.

Unfortunately, Les Rietfors has since passed away in 2005 but his love of music, the Hawaiian culture and people, and the art of fine luthiery lives on through his legacy of beautifully handcrafted instruments.
