Beautiful Les Rietfors Tenor Ukulele in excellent near mint condition. This piece is tremendously rare and a wonderful collector’s and player’s piece.
Premium Birdseye maple wood face, back, & sides with cocobolo fretboard and bridge. Corian nut and saddle with beautiful faux tortoise shell top and back binding. Hawaiian Flag wood inlay on headstock. Florentine style cutaway for easy reach high up on the neck with abalone shell position markers on fretboard and side for top down perspective. Honduran mahogany neck and gold Grover machine geared tuners for precision tuning. This is a definite keeper for both the collector and the true player. His ukuleles are amongst the most desired custom ukuleles to have been made and tremendously difficult to locate.
Unfortunately, Les Rietfors has since passed away in 2005 but his love of music, the Hawaiian culture and people, and the art of fine luthiery lives on through his legacy of beautifully handcrafted instruments.
