Gorgeous Hawaiian Koa face, back, & sides with maple fretboard and bridge. Beautiful maple wood top binding and ebony wood top purfling and classic rope marquetry on soundboard. Classic Hawaiian flag wood inlay on headstock with honduran mahogany neck and original Gotoh friction tuners.

Les Rietfors concert ukuleles are great player pieces and this one also has exceptional tones. It is tremendously bright and has excellent volume and sustain. This is a definite keeper for both the collector and the true player. Mr. Rietfors’ ukuleles are amongst the most desired custom ukuleles to have been made and tremendously difficult to locate.

Unfortunately, Les Rietfors has since passed away in 2005 but his love of music, the Hawaiian culture and people, and the art of fine luthiery lives on through his legacy of beautifully handcrafted instruments.
