This beautiful Custom Leonard Young Tenor Ukulele comes complete with gorgeous ziricote wood back and sides with a tight grain spruce top for added clarity and sustain. Rosewood rosette inlay. Top and back maple wood binding with bubinga wood end graph. Ebony fretboard and classic hand-carved rosewood bridge.

This instrument was previously owned by a local musician who gigged regularly here in Hawaii. Excellent string set up and playability. Nice and low and very easy to move high up on the neck. No cracks. No repairs. No needed repairs. Just some very light play wear on the fretboard and soundboard. The tuners have also been upgraded to new Grover slotted-headstock tuners for precise tuning.

The tones are symphonic in nature. Clean highs and nice balanced mid-range and low tones as well. Highly recommended player ukulele!

Unfortunately, Leonard Young has since passed away but his love of music, the Hawaiian culture and people, and the art of fine luthiery lives on through his legacy of beautifully handcrafted instruments.
