Custom Ko’olau Ukulele handcrafted by Noa Bonk for sale. Absolutely stunning Custom Ko`olau Tenor Ukulele (Model 100SP) in excellent and gently played condition. Just some very light strum marks that can only be seen under very close inspection. Handcrafted here on the island of Oahu, John Kitakis and Noah Bonk are regarded as two of Hawaii’s foremost luthiers and the owners and luthiers of Ko’olau Ukulele Company.

This custom Ko’olau Ukulele was handcrafted with gorgeous Hawaiian curly Koa back and sides with a beautiful spruce soundboard. The fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony wood with matching ebony headstock plate, fingerboard and top binding. The instrument boasts a paua shell rosette with a classy rope marquetry top purfling, and a classic slotted headstock with Grover tuners for precise tuning.

The natural golden colors of the Koa wood on this Ko’olau ukulele is truly stunning and the uke has a tone and sustain that is clear, crisp, and well projected. Nice deep rich low tones and well balanced mid-range and high tones as well. Excellent projection, sustain, and clarity all the way up the neck. A traditional tone that rings true “Hawaii” with every strum and a custom piece that is rarely available from Ko’olau Ukulele Company.
