Custom Kona Breeze Tenor Ukulele

Beautiful Kona Breeze Tenor Ukulele handcrafted by Bill MacDonald of Oregon. Bill is a current member of the Ukulele Guild of Hawaii (UGH) on the Big Island of Hawai’i and has handcrafted this wonderful ukulele for the 2012 Ukulele Exhibition in Hilo, HI.

Premium Oregon Juniper wood face, back, & sides with a matching Juniper wood headstock plate in keeping with the theme of the instrument. Cocobolo wood top and back binding and a B/W/B purfling line for aesthetic appeal, solid mahogny wood neck with a 14 fret joint to the body for extended reach, African ebony wood fingerboard and signature bridge, hummingbird inlay of mother-of-pearl, abalone shell, and redstone. Top abalone ‘paua’ shell purfling with matching rosette and position markers. Professional Gotoh 14:1 geared tuners for precise tuning and a 28-foot radius on the soundboard and 16-foot radius on the back. Fretboard at a 12-inch radius. Poreless high gloss lacquer finish.
