Custom Koa Works Ukulele. A beautiful Custom Koa Works Tenor Ukulele built here on the island of Oahu. This one was dated April 07, 2006 but was set aside for over a year and just completed on 12/15/2007. Constructed of master grade Hawaiian curly Koa wood on back and sides and Carpathian Spruce top with ebony fretboard and bridge. This beauty boasts a beautiful ebony wood binding on front, back and heel cap. Paua shell inlay position markers and gorgeous paua shell inlay on soundboard and paua shell rosette. Professional Gotoh machine tuners, nitrocellulose high gloss finish  with Molokai deer antler nut and saddle and a sound that rings true ‘Hawaii’.

This beauty really sings and has excellent volume and incredible sustain. The low tones are nice and long and crisp and balanced on the high end as well. Nows your chance to have a phenomenal player instrument from one of Hawaii’s best luthiers. Only about 10-12 ukuleles are made per year and these usually sell within a few days of listing.
