Custom Ukulele by Koa Works Ukulele. A beautiful Custom Koa Works Tenor Ukulele handcrafted here on the island of Oahu by luthier Rich Godfrey. This one is absolutely stunning in appearance but plays even better than it looks!

Handcrafted of quarter-sawn AAAA grade curly Hawaiian Koa wood on face, back and sides and macassar ebony fretboard and bridge. Sapele wood neck and graphite rod insert for added stability and sustain. The top and back binding is crafted with maple wood binding with black veneer. The fretboard is also bound with maple wood for aesthetic appeal and smooth play up and down the neck. Gorgeous paua shell position markers, shell rosette, shell top purfling, and shell ‘Honu’ inlay on headstock. Gorgeous Hokulea ‘sail’ headstock with professional Gotoh machine tuners for precise tuning. Molokai deer antler nut and saddle and a high-gloss finish with and a sound that rings true ‘Hawaii’.

This beauty really sings and has excellent volume and incredible sustain. The low tones are nice and long and crisp and balanced on the high end as well.
