Custom Koa Works Ukulele. A beautiful new Custom Koa Works Tenor Ukulele built on the island of Hawai’i by Rich Godfrey. This one was just completed and is absolutely stunning in appearance but plays even better than it looks! The hues of reds, greens, and browns are absolutely stunning in this set of Hawaiian Koa wood.

Handcrafted of quarter-sawn gorgeous curly Hawaiian Koa wood on face, back and sides and macassar ebony fretboard and bridge. The top and back binding is crafted with coveted Hawaiian Milo wood and the fretboard is also bound with Milo wood for smooth play up and down the neck with an elegant curly sycamore purfling accent line for aesthetic appeal. Gorgeous paua shell position markers and shell ‘Honu’ inlay on headstock. Slotted headstock design with Waverly professional machine tuners for precise tuning, Molokai deer antler nut and saddle, a high-gloss finish with and a sound that rings true ‘Hawaii’.

This beauty really sings and has excellent volume and incredible sustain. The low tones are nice and long and crisp and balanced on the high end as well. Nows your chance to have a phenomenal player instrument from one of Hawaii’s best luthiers. Only about 10-12 ukuleles are made per year and a highly recommended ukulele.
