Beautiful Custom Kanile`a Tenor Ukulele (K-3) handcrafted by luthier Joseph Souza of Kailua, Hawaii. Kanileʻa instruments are highly sought after, especially the custom models and continue to be loved by weekend musicians, recording artists, and recreational players alike.

This beautiful custom Kanile`a is handcrafted from rare and desirable premium tone wood, Brazilian rosewood back and sides with old growth Sequoia curly redwood soundboard. The fingerboard and bridge are crafted from premium blood wood. The instrument has a fourteen fret joint to the body and nineteen overall frets to the soundhole, a gorgeous faux tortoise shell top and back binding with elegant double black concentric circle rosette, paua shell position markers, gold open-geared Grover tuners, Nubone nut and saddle, and gorgeous and durable UV cured high gloss finish.

This instrument is a phenomenal player ukulele. The uke is also remarkably light but very well balanced and constructed. The joints are clean and all seams are tight. The body as a whole seems to resonate and not only the soundboard. You can feel the instrument vibrate with each chord picked or strummed.
