The top, back and sides of this custom Haiku tenor ukulele is handcrafted of Hawaiian Koa wood. The neck is carved from Honduran mahogany for added strength and stability. The fretboard is slightly radiused for added comfort at the wrist and is crafted of rosewood and the bridge is carved from Koa wood as well. Abalone rosette and matching abalone position markers on 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 14. Single top celluloid white binding with matching celluloid rosette. Grover open-geared tuners for precise tuning and a satin style finish for fast play.
The Hawaiian Koa face, back and sides give this instrument a nice balanced projection wish subtle overtones. Very warm mid-range and nice lows with with the slightly accentuated deeper body. Great player uke at a wonderful value!
