New Arrival! Custom Ana`ole Super Soprano Ukulele handcrafted in Hawaii by Gareth Yahiku. Ana`ole Ukuleles creates the finest in high-end custom Hawaiian ukuleles. Indeed, a classic building style that only comes with experience but yet a contemporary flair in aesthetics and a sound that appeals to the most acute ears. Only 10-12 high end ukuleles made per year. This one is made with the player in mind. Great tones less the fancy inlay and at a great price.
This Custom Ana`ole Super Soprano Ukulele comes complete with gorgeous Hawaiian Koa wood face, back and sides. In addition, this beauty boasts professional Grover open-geared machine tuners for precision tuning less all the weight of a traditional closed-geared tuner. Rosewood fretboard and bridge and honduras mahogany neck for added stability. Semigloss nitrocellulose finish. Excellent tonal qualities. Intonation is dead on and perfect balance, crisp highs and deep lows. Excellent sustain on each chord.
Ana`ole Ukuleles typically sell for $1150-$3250 depending on the model. This is the newest addition to the family, the SA-1, handcrafted with the ‘player’ in mind and with simple elegance and all the tonal qualities one would want from an Ana`ole at a fraction of the price. The super soprano is a concert neck on a soprano body. This allows the player to have more freedom playing up and down the neck without having to manage the smaller fret spacing found on a standard soprano scaled instrument. Super soprano ukes also give you a bit more in terms of projection, depth, and sustain when compared to a standard soprano uke.
Absolutely gorgeous! Gareth is one of the custom instrument builders who apprenticed under G-String Ukulele Co. for a number of years, working on many of the semi-custom and full custom instruments at the time. He now handcrafts his own instruments under the label of Ana`ole Ukuleles for your enjoyment.
A rare find for the true uke enthusiast.
