This gorgeous Kamaka Ohta-san ukulele was handcrafted with a Hawaiian Koa wood face, back, and sides, with classic maple binding, rosewood fretboard and bridge and a gorgeous satin finish. The ‘white label’ years were all the rave in playability and tone and this one is a prime example of the incredible workmanship of the ‘white label’ era Kamaka ukuleles.
Wonderful full range of tones all the way up the neck. A bit more ‘barky’ and so it has that extra presence if you like the Kamaka punch! Nice deep tones with crisp highs throughout. Classic tones that ring true Hawaii by the worlds most famous ukulele builders.
