Rare Gold label 1960s Kamaka 4-String Tenor Ukulele in excellent refinished condition. Refinish done by Kamaka. (See photos for documentation.)
Completed sometime in the early 1960s, the Koa wood has had nearly fifty years to cure adding to the classic Kamaka sound. Nice sustain and great volume. Solid Koa face, back, and sides. Koa neck with Koa fretboard and bridge. These early models are the only Kamaka tenor ukes that I have seen to come with bridge pins aside from a few custom ukuleles.
The Gold label era is considered one of the most treasured collectible and player instruments for Kamaka and is especially prized by collectors and musicians worldwide.
A rare find for the true uke enthusiast. Best of luck and thank you for looking!
